degreased given a base coat. They're just free standing in this photo
Not great prints but for the price I wasn't expecting miracles, just some cheerful TT scaled mechs.
Coincidentally a friend had some of his concept art turned into 15mm models and the prints look A1. I'm going to have to get in contact with those guys and see about prices for the bigger stuff.
As for these 2 I'll make a spruce for them and cast them at the same time I do Leopard.
Awesome work man! I just have a few qeustions for you:
ReplyDelete-are these the 1/60 scale models you made earlier just scaled down?
-and are these casts of resin? If so I would like tips on how to cast something out of resin, I have a few 3d printed mecha myself. :)
Thanks for your time.
Almost the same, these have been cast yet. There's a lot of resin casting guides out there better than I could write.
Deletehaven't* (sorry was end long long crappy day), I'll cast them once i buy some rtv.
DeleteCasts this small tends to be tricky. They break easily hence why most miniatures are in pewter and you need to degas the resin to pull it into the nooks other wise you end up with bubbles and at this scale thats a ruined cast.
Oh ok thanks man.
ReplyDeleteIf possible, I'd like to talk to you about your work with extracting the MW models.
